How to improve the service life of deep groove ball bearings

Deep groove ball bearing is an important part of modern mechanical equipment, and it is the most widely used type of bearing. Its main function is to support the mechanical rotating body, reduce its friction coefficient in the process of motion, and ensure its rotary accuracy. With the increasing demand for bearings, bearing premature damage, life is not long, and so on, each mechanical enthusiast troubled.
Under a certain load, the number of rotations or hours of deep groove ball bearings before pitting is called bearing life. Initial fatigue damage shall occur on any bearing ring or rolling body of the bearing within this lifetime. However, in our daily practical use, it can be clearly observed that the actual life of bearings with the same appearance under the same working conditions is very different. What causes this?
1. Improper installation (about 16%)
1. Installation of excessive force, in which hammer hammering bearing damage is the greatest; is also the main cause of deformation.
2, installation deviation or not installed to the bearing position, resulting in bearing clearance too small. The inner and outer circles are not in the same rotating center, causing different concentricity.
Suggestion: choose proper or professional bearing installation tools and install them with special instruments.
Two, pollution (about 14%)
Pollution also leads to premature damage to the bearing. Pollution means that dust and metal chips enter the bearing. The main reasons include: opening the packing of bearings prematurely before use, causing pollution; unclean working environment during installation, causing pollution; unclean working environment of bearings, working medium pollution, etc.
Suggestions: It is better not to unpack the bearings before use; keep the installation environment clean, clean the bearings to be used; strengthen the sealing device of bearings.
Three, poor lubrication (about 50%)
According to investigation, poor lubrication is one of the main reasons for premature bearing damage. Including not filling lubricant or lubricating oil in time; lubricant or lubricating oil not filling in place; lubricant or lubricating oil selection is not appropriate; lubrication method is not correct and so on.
Suggestion: choose the right lubricant or lubricating oil and use the correct way of lubricating filling.
Four, fatigue (about 34%)
Fatigue damage is a common damage mode of bearings. Common causes of fatigue damage may be: long-term overload operation of bearings; not timely maintenance; improper maintenance; equipment aging.
Suggestion: choose suitable bearing type and replace fatigue bearing regularly.
